  • This book includes the ocarina parts to all the songs on the St. Louis Ocarina Trio’s latest album, “Ancient Traveler: Timeless Tunes for the Ocarina.” You'll also receive a play-along tracks with the ocarina volume turned down low, so you can perform these songs without having your own ocarina trio. We have also included a bonus track (and the sheet music!) entitled “Botany Bay.” All the music is in standard musical notation.

    My favorite songbook!

    This book is clearly my favorite!! :D
    This book talks about every types of musics! Piazolla, Joplin, Taiwanese music...
    Even if you don't like the music to listen, you'd love to play it!
    I have to warn you first, if you want to play each music in this songbook you'll need a Tenor ocarina, a bass, a soprano and a triple.
    The musical notation are most of the time "true", I mean by this way that, for example, on the Dark Sky scores, there are some mistakes... But we go through them and it doesn't annoy us! :)
    The accompaniment CD is wonderful particularly to make videos! :)
    The only thing I dislike sometimes is that we hear the ocarina a little in the backing tracks, and when we know the music by heart, it can bother a little bit! x)
    But it is a GREAT songbook and if you can read classical musical notation, DON'T HESITATE AT ALL!
