For more than a century, ocarinas have been shaped by traditional materials and methods. Bass ocarinas carry some of the deepest and most resonant voices in the ocarina family, but their substantial weight and higher price have also kept them out of reach for many players.

We wanted to change that.

When we began developing a bass ocarina using advanced 3D printing technology, we set out to create an instrument that was dramatically lighter, more comfortable to play, and accessible to more musicians.

What surprised us was the sound.
