    Beautiful Instrument

I love this instrument. STL doesn't disappoint. I was looking for a deeper sound - I kept finding that I wanted play something with a lower mellow sound - not so piercing to the ears. The rough exterior is so cool - I thought of lava rock when I first saw it. The roughness helps with griping, which eases my fear of dropping it. Finger holes are easy enough for my hands, and the sound is just what I was looking for. Played the Narnia lullaby as soon as I got it. I got this one because it was not as expensive as the professional bass, it looks nice, and for the sound sample.

I'm very pleased. Try STL! You'll like 'em!

My new Passacaglia is just what I needed. I am a total, 100%, newbie to ocarinas and even to music generally. My solution is a handy, small, uncomplicated musical instrument that won't torture the ears of unlucky passers-by as I learn. This beautiful bass ocarina is just what I needed. Thanks for STL Ocarina!

    Bass Ocarina

My third STL ocarina. By far my favorite of the bunch. Heavy, takes a lot of breath, and due to it's size some tonguing options are a bit too audible. But none of those is against this ocarina, just true of the style. The grip is pleasantly rough, fingering spacious and fitting in my middling sized male hands. The only mild complaint I have is the complete lack of a neck strap or suitable hole for one to be added. Very happy with purchase. "Flight of Dragons" from Rankin' Bass film of same name is my favorite on this so far (not exactly challenging).
