Seasons Ocarina: Spring in F Major (Tenor)

Update * My last review was deleted. Which is why I'm now realizing is the cause of there being no negative reviews. This will most likely be deleted as well. So read it while you can.

I have 11 Ocarinas thus far with intentions to get more. 5 are from STL Ocarina. This one (Spring In F Major ) , Luxor , and Eclipse are the worst I've ever played. I regret not getting the Earth in F Major but the design of the Spring prompted me to get it. Unfortunately this Spring Ocarina and the Luxor make playing difficult due to the hidden mouth piece. I would not care so long as the playability wasn't impacted by the shape, but it is. I thought it was my fault at first that I had difficulty , gave the instrument grace, and figured I would be able to get a better sound with time. It has now been a year. As I acquired better quality Ocarinas from Songbird I realized it was the instrument. I will say I had an easier time playing the Luxor. But once I bought an E Major and Eb from Songbird I realized the instrument was lacking as well. Also my Spring does not sound anything like the samples. It is too late to get a refund so I have no choice but to keep it.

If you buy it and disklike it they will delete your negative review(s). I did not recieve any Email about violating guidelines on my other review, so I must assume the issue is that I gave my honest opinion and it wasn't positive. Based upon the fact they have been deleting negative reviews it greatly tarnishes the company as a whole in my opinion. It is frankly dishonest to delete negative feedback from Verified buyers. Unless of course my other reply somehow violated guidelines then the fault is mine ,but as I already mentioned I haven't recieved an Email stating that is the case. I heard rumors online that negative reviews are deleted but hadn't yet experienced it myself until now. I posted my first review on 10/05/2026 it was then Verified. I checked the review everyday to see if it was deleted so I could tell others my experience if asked. Today is 10/07/2026 and it was infact deleted.

Absolutely beautiful ocarina, solid ceramic, perfectly balanced & the mother of pearl glaze is stunning! Sounds lovely & look forward to exploring music with it. Thanks

Takes awhile to get used to. A bit heavy. Sounds a bit weird at first, but with a little getting used to, it’s everything I wanted out of it. Also stunningly beautiful

When one opens the box, the safety cord is separate, thin but strong, takes a minute to get thru the rather small strap holes on top, but ok. This is my fifth STL ocarina, and it’s quite a bit larger than I thought it would be so for someone with small hands I’d not recommend this model. The flat mouthpiece tilts a bit towards the left side so one has to turn the ocarina a bit to avoid getting a hiss so for me it turns out that a normal mouthpiece is the way to go. As an in-tune ocarina that looks nice it gets a five rating but for me personally it’s a disappointment. Would actually have returned this one but restocking fee and return shipping made that option pointless. However, not all is lost because it will be used as my travel one so if it happens to get broken no big deal. A let down on only one out of five is acceptable and I’ve already ordered a couple more from STL that are in transit as I write this.

I hope they do all the seasons because the first one in this series is amazing... Love the mouthpiece design. The sound is soft and mellow. Finish is amazing...
