    This product is good just like the ocarina in some Zelda games I love it.

    Losses tune after a few minutes of playing. Maybe the wood is getting moistened while playing causing the instrument to lose tuning. Need to constantly blow out moisture or wait hours for it to dry.

    Great sound

    The wood ocarina sounds great and the holes are easy to find while playing. The only issue, and it's with me & not the ocarina, is that moisture builds up after playing a couple of short songs. When it does, I have to blow it out and my wife and dogs don't care for that sound. I've ordered a ceramic one as those don't have this issue as much. When I'm not filling it with spit, I really enjoy it. But like I said, that's a me problem, not the ocarina.

    Enjoyable but a little quirky

    I just wanted to capture some notes for anyone considering a purchase. First it's a beautiful instrument, it does take less breath pressure than my ceramic and plastic models. For any beginners thinking about this, it's a bit different to get the right notes, you have to be real careful about finger placement over holes as there's no finger grooves and secondly it does seem to build up some moisture which gives low D and below a rattly sound. A hard blow will clear it out but it's happened enough I now realize this is part of the instrument I will have to be aware of. High F requires a lot of breath still and is airy sounding.
