  • Once held by a true guardian of the wilderness, this ocarina became entangled in the roots of the forest and was lost to time. Once it was re-discovered and carefully extracted from the twisted roots of a mysterious white bark tree, this mystical instrument began to vibrate with a power never seen before.

It is rumored that the spirits of a brown bear, a timber wolf, and an eagle live on inside this ocarina – their strength waiting to be called upon by a druid worthy of their allyship. Upon close inspection, one may notice that the mysterious tree this ocarina was encapsulated in did not completely let go, as the white roots remain to be seen -- encompassing the animal spirits that reside, strengthening their attachment to this wondrous item.

The user who plays this ocarina will befriend the spirit beasts inside, and will receive the ultimate assistance in a time of need.

    Unsatisfied

    1. The painting looks cheap. I've seen marks as if they were running out of paint while making my ocarina.
    2. The shape looks cheap. It doesn't look like a wolf. It looks like a lion drawn poorly. I can't even tell what are the animals on the sides.
    3. I'm not an ocarina player expert. This was supposed to be first ocarina and regret not getting the plastic one from Amazon. Due to the inaccuracy on both the shape and painting makes me doubt the quality of the instrument overall.

It isn't the most ugly thing I've seen. So I give it a 2 star. I spent over $120 CAD. I was expecting so much much much more. I was pretty excited about it. I didn't ask for a refund. But I won't ever buy another ocarina from STL again. It looks rushed, and low quality. Very disappointing.

    Great Quality/Design yet Questionable

This ocarina design style is very cool and doesn't get in the way of hand positioning nor does it feel uncomfortable to play. It is slightly sleeker then your average sweet potato tenor ocarina which is good if you have smaller hands. The paint job is okay the art is very cool even if it has small flaws in it but nothing a little paint can't fix. My untrained eyes did not see the animals in the tree which is a very awesome detail when you find it. Almost like the animals are hiding. I would've given it a five, but the paint job did have flaws. It's an awesome ocarina and a great gift for any music/fantasy fan I highly recommend the purchase.

    Druid ocarina - fantastic!!

The bear, timber wolf & eagle are wonderfully carved into this ocarina. The white tree branches wrapped around it look great too, in fact the picture doesn't do it justice!! It's quite heavy, but has a lovely earthy & crisp sound. The DnD card which comes with the ocarina has been invaluable in creating a short DnD campaign in which this Ocarina of Crystal Wilds was one of the central components. It even allowed me to play the ocarina during the campaign - marvelous !!!
