Bass Plastic Ocarina

As a beginner a I am not really qualified to give this instrument a proper review. I'm still learning but I wanted a bass ocarina and the price was too good to pass up. It has a great feel and it's not too heavy. I'm still working on the fingering but I think I'm really going to like it.

I'm still learning how to play the ocarina and getting into the basics of music theory, but this is actually my fourth ocarina--specifically, second plastic but first bass. My initial impression is that this ocarina is great! It's a really solid, smooth build and plays well (for a plastic instrument). Bass ocarinas can get quite expensive, so this provides an affordable opportunity to get one. As expected, it is on the bigger side, so children and those with smaller hands may have a bit more trouble holding it properly and covering the sound holes. Weight isn't an issue though since it's plastic. It's a very nice deep purple and comes with a purple necklace string attached to it. It comes with a spiral-bound booklet for ocarina duets for some songs from The Legend of Zelda, but (1) they're duets, so you need to find someone to play with, and (2) they're written in proper music notes, and not ocarina tabs.

Overall, highly recommended!

Very much enjoy the sound, durability, and portability. If there are any 12 hole ocarina tab sheet music sources, would be greatly appreciated to send.

Hi! It's not 12 hole but 11 hole ocarina. Please help me understand which notes are missing? A and Bb ?

This ocarina is everything I hoped for! It's sturdy, it produces a great tone, and I can carry it around worry-free. A testament to how far the quality of affordable plastic ocarinas has come!
