    The "Chameleon" ocarina is completely crafted by hand. It is about 7.5 inches long, accurately tuned in the key of C Major, with a pitch range of 13 notes. It also has the capability of performing sharps and flats.

    I see the other reviews are good on this Ocarina. Mine, the notes sound like they come out of a wind tunnel. The note adjustment does almost nothing.

    im just a beginner but this ocarina is proving very good to start with you are you really wanting to get into orcarina playing as it will give you something to grow with, the finger depressions are also very helpful for someone just starting out playing the ocarina :)

    Becoming a favorite

    I've only had this ocarina for a short time, but it's rapidly becoming my favorite 12-hole ocarina. Not only is it tunable, but you can also use the tuning slide to adjust the breath slope. The tuning slide moves smoothly in and out, yet remains firmly in place once set, does not interfere with fingering, and does not compromise sound quality. It does not include a lanyard or a lanyard hole, but the ergonomics make it comfortable and easy to hold securely. The onyx finish is textured and finger holes are in slight depressions which improves grip and makes it easy to locate the finger holes and to play the sub-holes. Hole spacing is perfect for my medium-sized hands. Best of all, it sounds fantastic from the lowest A4 to the highest F6. Sub holes are very responsive, and the higher notes are clear and easy to play without any hint of being airy or harsh. I am not a professional--playing mostly for my own pleasure--but this ocarina is one I can gladly recommend to others. My pre-purchase question was answered quickly and professionally by customer service, packaging was secure, and shipping was fast.

    What a buy!!

    (I left the delivery and customer service 3's because it was so-so shipping and I never needed customer service.) What a fun ocarina to play! The sound is great, and the high registers and the lower ones (which can be airy) just sing wonderfully. I recommend it to anybody who is an experienced ocarina player and to all experienced musicians.
