| Summer Enrichment Class Packages While summer is a fun and relaxing time for kids, without school and their usual activities to keep them engaged, it’s easy for them to fall behind. It’s important that kids continue to develop their abilities throughout the summer and continue to use their minds. It’s also a great time to try something fun and new!
Learning a musical instrument is a great way to focus kids’ minds: they learn problem solving skills, patience, creativity and a host of other important life skills that carry over into their schoolwork and other aspects of their lives. Music is also a fun activity that can be shared with friends and the whole family. Unlike other, more complicated instruments, kids can pick up the basic ocarina techniques quite quickly and learn many songs during the summer. With our step –by-step guide to learning the ocarina, kids can learn to play a number of familiar songs along with important musical skills.
Our summer enrichment packages include one plastic 12 or 6-hole ocarina and a method book. The method book includes a demonstration CD to help students learn more quickly. We recommend the 6-hole ocarina for younger children and the 12-hole ocarina for children age 10 and up.
